Gary

Gary is a multipurpose robot designed to collect coral and algae to earn match points. Algae was collected using a robotics arm equipped with a belt driven intake system that rotates the intake wheels for efficient gathering. Coral could be loaded by placing a piece into a designed slot on top of the robot, after which internal wheels transported and released the coral into the reef. At the end of the match, Gary was capable of climbing on to the deep cage to earn additional points. Climbing and algae was our strong suit and earned us the most consistent points throughout the match.
